One correct answer is not mastery.

Viko separates initial success from durable understanding. Requirements vary by skill, but no learner is advanced from a keyword or an unclear response.

  1. 01Independent work

The learner completes work without the answer being supplied.

  2. 02Reasoning

The learner explains a strategy, relationship, cause, or use of evidence.

  3. 03Representation

Understanding is demonstrated through another model, form, or source.

  4. 04Transfer

The learner applies the idea in a meaningfully different situation.

  5. 05Retention

Mastered skills come back for a spaced review — first after a few days, then further apart each time the learner succeeds again. A missed review does not erase what was already mastered; it just tells Viko to revisit the idea before moving on.
